Swap axes as often as you like, it's free. Point at or tap an axis to read what it means. Turn on Easy at the top and the axes you read while a dot is selected are noted under the guess box. Pick a dot, then type your guess. The blanks show how many letters it has.

You have 5 hearts. A wrong guess or a revealed letter costs one, and the wrong word shows up as a grey ghost on the chart so you can see how far off it was. Words that aren't on the category's list are free. Find all five before your hearts run out.
